Individuals can display a combination of dark body coloration, contrasting spots and red to orange tones through the fins, with colour and pattern varying between specimens.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLike other Pseudacanthicus, our stock are small juveniles but they grow into a large, heavily armoured and powerful pleco that requires excellent filtration, good oxygenation and plenty of caves and structured hiding places. It is primarily carnivorous to omnivorous and readily accepts quality sinking foods and meaty frozen foods.
