A simple way to keep bioactive setups clean and balanced.
This white dwarf isopod culture (Trichorhina tomentosa) is supplied in a cup containing 10 live isopods, ready to introduce directly into moist substrate. White dwarf isopods live within the soil, where they feed on decaying plant matter and organic waste, helping reduce mold and maintain a healthy substrate layer.
They establish easily in humid environments and reproduce on their own once settled. Due to their small size, white dwarf isopods are ideal for planted terrariums and vivariums where a discreet clean-up crew is preferred. They may also be consumed by small species such as Dart Frogs as part of a natural bioactive system.
White dwarf isopods adapt well to stable, humid conditions and continue working within the substrate over time, supporting long-term enclosure cleanliness.

Note: White dwarf isopods are very small and may not be immediately visible after introduction.

There is strictly no replacement, return, or refund on any live animal and no guarantee or warranty on all livestocks after adding them to your aquarium. DOA (Dead On Arrival) must be notified immediately with proof and will be rewarded with a replacement or credit note.
All our live stocks are thoroughly tested and quarantined before packing and guaranteed to arrive free of tapeworms or diseases.
Tropical fish and inverts must be expected to lose color during transport and will arrive pale or white, a proper environment and diet is needed to regain coloration.
Any death or illnss of live animals after being added to an aquarium cannot be replaced or refunded. If such problems are encountered then it is connected to aquarium conditions or noncompatible tank mates (e.g. mixing with fish or plants from other sources).
Fish acclimation to a new aquarium is the sole responsibility of the buyer and not the Discus.ae delivery team.
