Malawi Cichlid Color Enhancer is a supplement formula made of fine mini pellets designed to rapidly enhance the color development in Malawi Cichlids, it is not a complete diet and best not to be fed daily (please read more details below).

This supplement contains a high dose of Vitamin D which triggers the hormonal color production in both male and female Malawi cichlids, turning both into the same color which also reduces aggressive behavior without using hormones in its ingredients.

Notes:

Best used for Peacocks and Haps but not recommended for other varieties or non-cichlid species. This food must not be fed to breeding pairs, females will stop laying eggs while given this supplement but can spawn again successfully once this food is stopped for several weeks. This food does not cause stunting, sterility, or organ damage which are commonly associated with cichlid coloring food.

Feeding:

The crushed mini granules makes this food suitable for both large and small Malawi Cichlids. Feed once or twice a day for two weeks during the initial stage or until the desired color is achieved, after which it must be fed 2 to 3 times weekly to maintain the color. A variety of other nutritious foods are required for daily feeding to ensure health and growth. This Malawi Cichlid Color Enhancer should only be used as a supplement.
