Carnivorous terrestrial plant suitable for specialized indoor cultivation or outdoor setups under appropriate conditions. Delivered as 1 young potted plant.

The iconic Venus Fly-trap (Dionaea muscipula) is a carnivorous plant famous for its snap-trap leaves used to capture insects. This young specimen is ideal for enthusiasts seeking to grow and mature the plant over time. Traps and coloration will develop further as the plant establishes under correct conditions.

This species requires specific care and is not suitable for standard terrarium environments.

Care Tips:

Requires bright light (including direct sunlight), pure water only (distilled, RO, or rainwater), and nutrient-free carnivorous plant substrate. Keep soil consistently moist. Do not fertilize or manually feed frequently. Requires seasonal dormancy for long-term health.

Note: Trap size, color, and activity improve with proper light and maturity.

There is strictly no replacement, return, or refund on any live animal and no guarantee or warranty on all livestocks after adding them to your aquarium. DOA (Dead On Arrival) must be notified immediately with proof and will be rewarded with a replacement or credit note.

All our live stocks are thoroughly tested and quarantined before packing and guaranteed to arrive free of tapeworms or diseases.

Tropical fish and inverts must be expected to lose color during transport and will arrive pale or white, a proper environment and diet is needed to regain coloration.

Any death or illnss of live animals after being added to an aquarium cannot be replaced or refunded. If such problems are encountered then it is connected to aquarium conditions or noncompatible tank mates (e.g. mixing with fish or plants from other sources).

Fish acclimation to a new aquarium is the sole responsibility of the buyer and not the Discus.ae delivery team.
