Though Bucephalandras are from Asia and Anubias fom Africa, they have a lot in common, including how to grow them.
Bucephalandra sp. 'Needle leaf' has a bit higher demands than the 'diabolica' and pygmaeae, but is still a very easy plant to grow. Some added CO2 and a little more light is beneficial. Immersed leaves are green, elongated and slightly waved, showing numerous tiny, white dots. Each leaf is less than 0.5 cm broad and between 1 and 2 cm long. Youngest parts of the rhizome display a nice, red colour. Growth is slow.
The creeping rhizome must not be covered when planting, otherwise the plant will rot and die.

There is strictly no replacement, return, or refund on any live animal and no guarantee or warranty on all livestocks after adding them to your aquarium. DOA (Dead On Arrival) must be notified immediately with proof and will be rewarded with a replacement or credit note.
All our live stocks are thoroughly tested and quarantined before packing and guaranteed to arrive free of tapeworms or diseases.
Tropical fish and inverts must be expected to lose color during transport and will arrive pale or white, a proper environment and diet is needed to regain coloration.
Any death or illnss of live animals after being added to an aquarium cannot be replaced or refunded. If such problems are encountered then it is connected to aquarium conditions or noncompatible tank mates (e.g. mixing with fish or plants from other sources).
Fish acclimation to a new aquarium is the sole responsibility of the buyer and not the Discus.ae delivery team.
