The Basalt substrate from Aquael is a fine and natural substrate that is distributed in the aquarium. The basalt-black gravel creates impressive contrasts in the aquarium due to its dark shade. The natural substrate does not contain any artificial additives or coatings, which is why it behaves in a water-neutral way and does not release any polluting substances. The substrate has a very fine grain size of 2 - 4 mm and is also ideal for aquariums with shy fish that prefer a dark substrate for camouflage purposes.
Natural sands and gravels are available in a wide range of grain sizes and colours. Thoroughly rinsed and free of impurities. They are sold in durable 2-kg or 10-kg plastic bags. Do not affect the parameters of aquarium water (the above does not apply to dolomite gravel, intended for tanks in which fish original to Lakes Malawi and Tanganyika are kept).
Dry goods are dispatched daily and can take 1 to 5 working days to arrive.
Live fish, live plants, and frozen food require 2 to 7 working days or more due to special handling requirements. Delivery to Distant areas (Out of city and over 30 km radius) requires to be inquired by contacting our customer service before the order is placed.

There is strictly no replacement, return, or refund on any live animal and no guarantee or warranty on all livestocks after adding them to your aquarium. DOA (Dead On Arrival) must be notified immediately with proof and will be rewarded with a replacement or credit note.
All our live stocks are thoroughly tested and quarantined before packing and guaranteed to arrive free of tapeworms or diseases.
Tropical fish and inverts must be expected to lose color during transport and will arrive pale or white, a proper environment and diet is needed to regain coloration.
Any death or illnss of live animals after being added to an aquarium cannot be replaced or refunded. If such problems are encountered then it is connected to aquarium conditions or noncompatible tank mates (e.g. mixing with fish or plants from other sources).
Fish acclimation to a new aquarium is the sole responsibility of the buyer and not the Discus.ae delivery team.
